Can I run the application in play mode without building it?

Hello, I received my first Polyspatial beta today and I’ve been testing it with the sample app. When I saw the WWDC video, I noticed they ran the application directly in the Unity Editor’s play mode to quickly iterate with the vision simulator. I was wondering if this feature is accessible for me as well?

When I open the Window - PolySpatial - Universal Player, and check the description, it appears that I can use play mode in visionOS Simulator. However, when I click the “Download the TestFlight App” link, it redirects me to a completely unrelated page. Does my Vision Simulator need to have the TestFlight app installed? Is there anyone who could shed some light on this matter?

Good catch! The universal player is something we’re actively working on and hoping to ship an early version of in upcoming package releases.

Thanks for the heads up Dan—will the Universal Player be available for all app modes, or specifically for Mixed Reality (Immersive) Apps?

Hi,

For now, Universal Player (renamed to Play To Device) support will be limited to Mixed Reality apps.
