Cant figure out shell blending opacity

Hi guys, I am really struggling to figure out how to properly blend two materials with the shell. When I add my opacity map, it will just tile. How can I force the opacity to not tile with the texture and just have the gradient properly blend ?

To control the tile of the shell, you’ll want to adjust the UV settings. In your case, you may want to turn on “Fractional” and reduce the Value to be below 1:

Then you can use the V Offset setting to precisely tune what part of your shell is shown:
