edit texture pivot

Hi,

is there a way to change the pivot of a texture without using the sprite mode : Multiple ?
Specifically when there is only one sprite on the texture :slight_smile:
Some shortcut, script, anything?
It is something really important to animate so it would be great to have the possibility to edit them on the fly;

If you have multiple sprites selected, you can control click on the origin to move it. But I haven’t gotten that to work with a single sprite.

What do you mean by “the origin”? In which window?
I can edit the pivot point in the sprite editor ( with the multiple sprite mode ) but without using Ctrl

I also cannot find anything to adjust pivot point. It seems that there is nothing to edit it in single sprite mode. Is it intended to use multiple mode for editing pivot point?

Set the pivot to “custom” in the inspector.

There is only two edit boxes, not any point in sprite editor with single sprite texture. But editor allows to move the pivot point with multiple sprite texture.

I can only enter values that way, not by a visually dragging the pivot circle. I must be missing something?

I second that.
indeed, there is a Custom option, but the Sprite editor ( and so, the possibility to move the pivot visually ) isn’t accessible unless you select the Multiple Sprite Mode.

edit: nevermind, it’s at least for sprite animation -----Another question for you guys : what is the purpose of the child object ( the sprite I suppose ? ) under any texture in 2D Mode ? Is it only to inform you that it is a sprite object? I don’t see any option related and it opens nothing.
