How do i fix the pixelation effect i get when adding a normal map to my textures with high smoothness

Hello, ive a problem with my textures, they look fine in substance and in blender but when imported to unity I get these pixelation with high smoothness, its not so noticeable when its matte

if i remove the normal map, the pixelation is gone so i assume there is something wrong with my normal map, but its not just this model so i might be baking or mapping it wrong?

I have tried adding gausian blur to the normals but it didnt work,
played around with the normal map settings like compression,
tried different uv mapping but it still the same.
so i want to learn how to fix this so i wont run into it again in the future, and maybe some explanation why this is happening.
thank you

Normal maps are just images and images have pixels, unfortunately. When you tried the different image settings, did you remember to click “apply” every time?

did you try with the filter set to point?

yep, i did there was little change, it blurred it a little bit but it was still noticeable.

yes but it just had minimal changes

Well there goes a good idea.

yeah, thanks anyway, ill keep testing
