I can't use muse chat even after receive invitation email

Had same issue. You need to relogin into Unity account on this page.

I have the same problem, it worked for a while but has stopped working now. I tried relogin on that page, but it doesn’t make any difference.

After relogin try to type something like: “I have already joined into AI beta program”.
It may spend some time musing or even return internal error. After page refresh it may allow you type question again.

Also had this issue. The only way that I managed to get it to work was by opening an incognito window.

Sounds like a cookies problem or extentions conflict (i.e. Ads/StatsTracker blocker) …

Thanks, I

This worked for me, thanks

Hi,
Same here, I received the invitation but still cant use Muse chat (it already worked once)
I tried to re-log, change my email adress, use incognito but I still have have the message like I was not invited to use the closed beta.

I have opened a ticket last Friday but I still dont have any answer.
https://unity3d.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/17/MUSE-114

Please help

Same here, but worse: the link “file a ticket here” from the acceptance email directs to an Atlassian site that refuses to allow login, it appears that Unity forgot to create accounts on that Atlassian site, and/or forgot to add us to it.

So:

  1. I can’t use Muse (despite having re-logged in)
  2. The “I have already joined into AI beta program” trick doesn’t work for me
  3. I cannot file a bug report because Unity’s bug system is broken.

Um.

Same here. I also reported a bug 2 days ago.

I have the same problem and I don’t know how to solve it. If anyone knows the solution, please @carlostq29

Hey folks, we recently rolled out a change to hopefully fix the bug many of you are seeing where you’re being kicked out of your authentication regularly (the cause of the repeated “Join the beta” messages seen). You may experience a couple hiccups as you get bumped into the proper authentication flows and such, so if you have some issues please try logging out, then logging back in. Doing a hard refresh of muse.unity.com may also help clear your browser cache to ensure you get the latest version of the website.

Additionally, it’s worth noting that muse makes use of your browser’s local storage. Please ensure you are not disabling your browser’s local storage. Some ad blockers have caused trouble with Muse attempting to use local storage recently, and we’re working on a fix, but for now if you’re willing then please disable your ad blocker for muse.unity.com.

Please continue to let us know about the bugs you face regarding this issue, as we’re still following it closely.

Happy Thursday,
Jake

I have read through the suggestions on how to fix the issue but none have worked. Is there anything other than; relogging in, clearing cookies, disabling ad block or telling the chat I have already joined, that might work?

Hey folks,

We’ve rolled out another deployment with some additional fixes to our authentication & authorization management in Muse. It tested well, and we’re continuing to test and monitor it, but hopefully it’ll solve a number of the problems you’ve been seeing.

You may need to do a logout and log back in if you were seeing authentication-related error messages. Another factor you may need to check is ensuring your primary email on the account you’re logged in with is identical to the email you registered with to join the beta program.

Happy Thursday,
Jake

None of this is working to fix the problem for me.

I noticed that the email that the invite was sent to is different that the one I use as my Unity login. Could that be an issue??

Ok now its working for me !
You should disable adblock while using Muse as @jakeuskoski said

Yes! This is most likely the issue, please change your primary email to match the one you received the beta invite to - let us know if that works - thank you!

That did the trick! Thanks! Im excited to try this now!!
