I need help with infinite procedural terrain generator in unity 3D

So I’ve been trying to make a infinite terrain generator but i always failed, then i came across this video

There is no tutorial on that channel but it seems very interesting for me, so if someone can make something similar to with biomes and random infinite terrain generator i would be really happy. I know that this is not a thing to ask here but i’m starter here in unity and i really need help with these things… thanks in advance!

I can also recomment the series from Sebastian Lague that was posted above. If you dont just want infinite terrain, but also voxels, it gets a bit more complicated tho. In that case you’d need to look into marching cubes (or dual contouring, which is a better but more complicated marching cubes). In either case, i’d probably start with something “simple” like heightmap terrain, since the series also contains useful informations on chunking, threading and saving the maps, which you need either way.

Catlikecoding also has a very detailed terrain generation tutorial. There are plenty of sources out there to base your work on. You HAVE to do some work though. You say you need help so be specific with what you have problems. But noone is gonna do the work for you (incase you don’t know). If you can’t achieve your goals by yourself maybe set some lower goals first until you have enough experience to tackle such complicated topics.

I too would like if i could get my hands on something like this… It would go great in the asset store if it was made.

Sebastian Lague posted the code from his tutorial series for free. There are also kind of many assets for procedural terrain or noise on the store tho. What exactly are you missing?
