Inspector Won't Return To Original State When Configuring Humanoid Rig, Now Configure Button Does Nothing

Hi I’m a beginner and after watching quite a few tutorials I’m still struggling to use the inspector properly, unless it is broken/bugged which seems possible. I click on my animation asset from Mixamo and switch the animation type to humanoid. Then I click “Configure…” to reassign the bones to the rig in my scene, which works fine the first time I try to do it. When I click done, it takes me back to a different screen inside the inspector. Unfortunately I can’t find a way to pull that screen up anymore; I restarted the project and now when I press the “Configure…” button nothing happens.

Like I said I’m a beginner so I could be overlooking something obvious. Thanks for taking the time to read this, I hope there’s a quick and simple solution.

when switching to humanoid , avatar is created as a child to the asset you can go to project and expand the asset , there you can find the avatar select it and go to inspector then click the configure avatar see if that works.
usually you don’t need to assign the rig if both character and animation are humanoid . make sure character is humanoid assign the avatar of character in the animator then you only have to switch animations to humanoid if that didn’t work out . you can rig the character in Maximo so they can both have same rig
