Mixed point light has no realtime shadow

I have a weird problem with mixed point lights. The top one creates a realtime shadow for the character but the bottom one doesn’t. Both have the same settings (see the inspector). Is this a bug or what do I something wrong?

Edit: The Point lights are above the blue mushrooms.

Furthermore I have noticed that the light is sometimes not visible too (first picture). If I move the camera slightly, the light is shown (second picture).

If you have more than 3 intersecting mixed mode lights one will revert to baked maybe that’s what’s happening?

In the Inspector and the Light Explorer they are still in Mixed mode. But maybe they do something like this in the background. Do you have any references about this topic?

Select Light overlap example here fifth light is marked red

If it is the overlap issue, know that the issue is not “more 4 lights’ ranges overlapping”, rather it’s “more than 4 lights affecting a single light mapped mesh”. The lights themselves don’t have to overlap each other.

Ignore me!

Oh hey, you’re right. They’re being extra crafty with their shadow masking system.
