This is the second time this happens. Only this time I’m not able to get a response from Unity.
Basically they claim I did “fraudulent activity” which could mean anything from getting fake traffic, clicking on the ads myself, or a plethora of other things. They refuse to provide any evidence of these said “fraudulent activities”. I was the only dev with access to the build process and am sure I didn’t do any fraudulent activities.
For context most of my users reside in the middle east as my game is a card game that is popular there. That might have been part of the reason.
So they may come back in a couple of months and be like oops we made a mistake. Or take no responsibility and keep my org shot forever. In either case, their lack of communication and the disrespectful way they treat their loyal developers is UNACCEPTABLE.
My two cents, don’t use Unity Ads or have a backup plan like Google AdMob in place in case Unity’s incompetent fraud team flags you.
A developer loses a month of earning including previous earning because of their mistake and still no response from unity… you have no option but to wait…
Its not just us, their fraud detection has claimed many victims, check out the recent posts in this thread…
