Point- and Spot lights not baking

Hey Dev’s,

I bought this asset and I’m trying to convert the Realtime bit to Baked but having issues with that.

Lights are not showing up after baking

When I clear all lighting data it shows up like it should but when I bake the lighting all the lights disappear.

I’ve already increased the quality settings where ever possible and fiddled with all the controls.

  • Generate UV’s are on
  • Everything is set to Static
  • All lights are set to Baked obviously
  • Cleared all caches numerous of times
  • Yelled at the screen repeatedly
  • Increased and decreased the range on the lights (screenshots)
  • Precomputed Realtime GI is turned off
  • Shaved 4 sheep
  • Added and removed Directional Light
  • Reduced the number of lights in the scene
  • Drank a lot of beer
  • Turned on Draw Halo (that at least showed after baking)
  • Set the Quality Settings way up high
  • ???
  • Profit

Still no luck

Well, solved it the ugly way. Apparently as long as I have 2 of each light in game they bake and show up. But the copy of each light has to stay as well as the original.

Got a reply from the creators.

Apparently they only make the assets but don’t know anything about baking.
