Hello everyone!
We’re working on a racing game right now, and we desire to have a tron-esque look to the game. So we followed the instructions and created Self-illumin textures for a bunch of stuff in the game. Then we tried applying both the Bloom/Lensflare script and the Glow script to our camera (not both at the same time, of course). But it hasn’t worked. Essentially everything EXCEPT what we want to glow is glowing.
What we want to glow is this:
The windows of our buildings, the engines of our vehicles and certain decals, such as the grid on the rear wheel of our racer.
When we applied the cool Bloom/Lensflare scripts, we got this:
The sky has received very vibrant colors, but every single thing with the colour white is blooming like hell, EXCEPT for the things we actually do want to see glowing.
Finaly, we tried the much more primitive Glow script, resulting in this:
Note that the glow setting has been turned down really low. The sky has turned completely, overwhelmingly white, and so has the sea below. The lights on our skyscrapers have actually started to glow ever so slightly, but EVERYTHING else is glowing even more.
I’ve been playing around with the settings of these shaders all day, but haven’t been able to crack what I need to do. Any suggestions would be helpful!
