I am almost afraid to right now… lol… does strumpy work on this? And will it mess up my install of Pro 3.5?
Rename your Unity 3.5 folder before installing 4.0.
Sweet… and would that be in the install directory?
If on Mac it’s the Unity folder in the Applications folder. On PC it’s the Unity folder in the Programs folder. Just rename it to “Unity_3-5” or similar.
does it have the new gui feature ?
No, that is a feature that is coming later in the 4.x pipeline. However, with NGUI’s chief architect there working on it, I have hope it will be good when it is finally released.

Ok , tried it and everything in my game stuck disabled( liked faded in the inspector) . Of course I made a backup , but it looks like i’m stuck on 3.5 for now

Ehh… does this mean 3.5 and 4 beta can’t run side by side? 
They most likely can, but if you don’t rename the folder, 4 will overwrite 3.
Yeah… thought so, but just wondering how safe is it to rename it? Can you continue safely working on a 3.x project?
