Unity hub will not open projects

When trying to open a project in Unity Hub the Unity editor splash screen appears for a few seconds, then disappears and I am returned to the Hub screen with no project opening. I have tried the following:

Uninstalling and reinstalling Unity Hub v2.3.0
Installing newer version of Unity, 2019.3.5f1
Removing projects and re-adding
Deactivating and reactivating my license
Creating a new project (this opens the editor only once, after closing it will no longer open)

Any help would be appreciated!

Looks like it was an issue with the license after all
