I’m migrating from 2018.3 to 2019.1, and so far so good, except for Bloom. Aside from it just generally working differently than under PPv2, I’m seeing a weird behavior that I don’t know how to address. Specifically, as soon as I enable Bloom on the camera, and set its intensity to anything greater than 0, I’ll start seeing the screen “flicker” occasionally. Ultimately, I’ve found that at specific camera angles, the screen will be completely covered by some color.
For example, here’s my scene view normally:
But I can pan/rotate the scene view slightly, and it will look like this:
Rotating a little more and it goes back to the first image, but I can consistently return the rotation to a specific amount to get the green image. If I turn off Bloom, this goes away.
In one scene, the overlay is green. In another, it’s black. I’ve tried changing a bunch of settings to pinpoint what’s going on, but so far I can’t get rid of this side effect while keeping Bloom enabled. The only thing that does help is enabling “Stop NaNs”, but I don’t know whether that’s reasonable to enable, or if that’s just hiding a bigger issue.
Has anyone seen this before, or know how I might fix it?
