I am living in China but Canadian. I need to find clear tutorials I can follow in China. VPNs don’t always work so I need to know if there are other English speaking perople in China who found a way to solve that problem

As far as I’m concerned, vpns are completely banned in China. When I was here in a business trip two years ago, I used hma and had no issues accessing the restricted content. Today, I’m planning another trip and try to seek more info about vpns operable in China. Unfortunately, all trusted resources, such as this one https://www.bestvpnrating.com/news/vpns-are-completely-banned-china, inform about strengthening of Chinese restriction policy meaning that any vpn service is not available to bypass golden firewall.
I can get onto a few restricted sites but it is painful not have access on demand
