I’m thinking about using a separate project just for my own personal working files so I can share those easily across multiple computers. Desktop/Laptop.
I could also just use google drive desktop I suppose.
This solution would be for source .PSD files but not the .PNG file variants that go into our game. I have an art folder that’s about 140GB, I would want about 300GB potentially for space.
Anyone else use Plastic for this, or something else? Curious to hear what folks do. Syncing external SSD’s is sort of lame imo.
Hi, Plastic SCM / DevOps Version Control is a good tool to version binary/big files. It would be useful for you if you plan to keep different versions of the files and easily go to a previous version, and run a diff… at the of the day all the multiple advantages of using a version control system vs a regular cloud drive.
