Update about the future of the Unity Forums and Unity Discussions

It does exist. It just isn’t on the front page for whatever reason.

They’ve merged “Assets and Asset Store” with “Made with Unity” and “Works in Progress” under new singular category Community Showcases. The tags for them are not visible on the home page. Needless to say it’s not great, I’ve posted about that in Unity Discussions Feedback:

I can understand merging Works in Progress and Made with Unity together but why mix in Assets and Asset Store in as well? That specific category was used for both Asset Store marketing and tech support or posting free OSS tools that has nothing in common with the other categories primarily used for showcasing video game projects. These categories were visited for completely different purposes. I wouldn’t be surprised seeing some Asset Store devs (and by extension Unity) losing sales due to much…
