Hello. I have several problems that are overcoming me. I am currently using Unity 2022.1.21f1 for my project and I want to use URP. The thing is that when I install the URP package in this version, I get a lot of Shader Graph errors that I can’t fix in any way. I have searched and searched on the internet and did not find any solution. This would be a problem. The other serious problem is that when I try to migrate my project to a new version of Unity, it takes dozens of hours. It’s like frozen. I have deleted the Library folder and the meta files, but this does not solve anything. I have waited up to almost 24 hours and there is no progress. Does anyone know what could be happening?
well depends what the shaders are, did you run the conversion? if they are your own shaders did you go in and add the target to include urp?
Hi and thanks for the answer. I use shaders that come with the assets, but nothing that I have made. I don’t understand what you say about shaders and URP.
If you have an existing project in built in rp or import items into a project already urp that are not ready as is for urp you need to convert them. Using the options available. It is well documented
Oh, you mean converting shaders to URP when they look pink? I know about this, but I never get to that point with this case, because the bugs with Shader Graph prevent the URP package from being installed correctly. I can’t solve this problem and move past that step with this project.
I would suggest you should have moved to 2022.3, as thats the LTS. 2022.1 is like almost a beta version, at least look through the bugs of things to find out if that issue has been fixed.
Yes I am trying to do that, migrate to another version. And this would be my second problem, because the conversion takes too long, it’s been 14 hours and it’s not finished yet. Is this normal? It’s a great game, but something is wrong.
All this depends so much on your project youre converting… Ive got like 10k assets on my account if I loaded half of them in and then tried to convert it… sure… days… im sure…
