Very large lightmapping after bake

hi, i have a problem with baking light into my app, i have a scene with terrain and basically a map of a town, when i bake the light, the outcome of the baking is around 2.5GB of lightmap data (I marked trees, terrain, mountains, and buildings as static).
My lightmapping settings are :
Direct Samples = 16
Indirect Samples = 32
Lightmapping Resolution = 40
Parameters = Default-Medium

anyone can point me to something i’m doing wrong?

Lightmap Resolution set to 40 is very high! You can try something as low as 8, and increase your direct/indirect samples as needed to balance out if there is a drop in quality. Let us know if this works!
