World Mesh access

Is it possible to access the world mesh during runtime to create MR experiences with colliders over the real world?

I’m interested in building experiences where characters can walk around a sofa for example.

I know with AR Mesh Manager we can generate it, but the Vision Pro is always scanning the world and creating meshes no?

Yes, using the AR Mesh Manager as you described will give you an world mesh generated at runtime. I don’t know the specifics of how the platform / backend works (probably a question for Apple) but in general the mesh is generated very quickly because the number of sensors on the device.
