Visual effect offers several probe related settings in the inspector, however, no amount of playing around with them/reading the docs made any difference for me.
So I was wondering if someone could explain these in short terms, and whether I should be using them or not?
I use both APV and reflection probes in my scenes.
This is the same setting that can be found for regular Mesh Renderer. As its name implies, it is normally allowed to choose how the light probes are sampled. Now it appears to be properly working with the old light probes, but there’s a bug with APV. This bug has been reported here. So for the moment, the APV probes will always be sampled and blended.
