DDX and DDY node are not supported, because there is no equivalent in MaterialX.
We were using it to resample texture in realtime to remove aliasing on texture without the need to have a mipmap.
My texture can’t have mipmap, is there anyway to have a workaround?
As of visionOS 2.0, the fragment derivative nodes are supported. PolySpatial 2.X includes support for the DDX, DDY, and DDXY shader graph nodes.
nice, I did not see that one.
Any plan to bring Polyspatial 2.x to Unity 2022.3?
If not, when is the expected release date of Unity 6? And when do you plan to have an LTS version?
I’m trying to figure out if and when we should move to Unity 6, thanks.
No plans at this time. We would generally recommend updating to Unity 6.
October 17th!. That will be the “LTS” version under the new naming scheme.
