(Solved)exported fbx file with animation shows no root transform rotation or position!?

hey big problem since I use maya 2016 I exported my neku animations but for some odd reason it wont show the options like root transform or root transform potions option on the animation clip here are the pictures

but for some reason my ike animations have it

like what in the flipping dongerio is going on!?୧( ಠ Д ಠ )୨ [ ” ಠ ‸ ಠ ” ]

I don’t know what dongerio is but (guess) it looks like you have two different types of rigs setup. The one not showing root motion is legacy, and the one that is showing root motion is generic or humanoid?

Lol Thanks for the reply and no he came out on the default like that and had the Same options even in huminoid but for some odd reason when I Import another rig just like this it just comes with out the options what would you suggest?

Try re-importing back into maya to see if the root motion is intact. If not there is something wrong with your export settings.
If so there is something wrong with the import into Unity.

I’m not a maya user, but all us animators have to go through a similar process. :slight_smile:

Try that as a test - to narrow down the problem.

Solved turns out you where right about the humanoid thing lol I should looked more closely so from now on I have to make sure I set my rig to humanoid rather than generic lol problem solved! :smile:
